Can I create a game in which I discuss stuff like:
Histroy vs Future
Word vs images
City vs Village
A VISUAL GAME IN WHICH YOUR ANSWERS WILL LEAD TO INTIMATE CONVERSATIONS
First step: writing a direct letter to my parents in which I will tell what I feel.
First idea; create a visual game that we can play together that will open up the conversation.
Game:
Didn’t work out. - idea to use never seen family photo negatives wouldn’t work. Couldn’t visit.
I thought of the old interview material to edit. Never did that.
So I spotted all the family audio materials and made one edit of my mom.
I’d like to work all the others out as well and create this ritual of doing this every two years.
The spotting of the footage and listening to all these conversations already helped a lot with reformulating the letter to my parents.
Screenshots of the footage.
in these shots I asked them to be silent and think of where they would be in two years. After that I started the interview which I only recorded in audio.
Sanne, sister 22 years old
Sofie, sister 19 years old
Ben, father 59 years old
Bea, mother 57 years old
